Super Six Japanese Cuisines

At a certain point of time in our lives, we all get bored eating the same old food each and every day. The same old bread, butter and chicken dishes. Food is one of those important parts of our lives, where we need to have a huge variety. So, if you are tired of eating the same old food over and over again, then it’s time when you try something unique, something that could excite your taste buds. How about the Japanese food? We all have heard about the Japanese food and how good they are for our health. I would also like to add another thing here that, Japanese food is quite easy to make.

I would also like to mention a few Japanese dishes that are quite popular all over the world. Here they are:

Japanese sushi

1.   Sushi: Well, this particular dish has become a global dish because everybody likes to eat it. In its early days, Sushi was just a preserved fish in vinegar. But, in the recent times, many different varieties of the Sushi have been evolved. You can easily get a Sushi Sake set from any local store and make the following delicious Sushi at your home.
a)  Norimaki: In this type, rice and dried seafood is wrapped in Nori or dried Seaweeds.
b)   Nigiri: In this, you will have sushi rice balls along with raw seafood or shellfish on top.
c)   Temaki: This particular type is quite popular as it includes Sushi cones with rice, dried or fresh seafood, vegetables or even fruits inside.

Sashimi

2.   Sashimi: This dish is made using seafood and shellfish that are cut very thinly. It is served along with the soya sauce or if you want, you can eat it raw as well. Types of Sashimi include:
a)      Maguro Sashimi: It uses raw lean Tuna fish.
b)      Toro Sashimi: It uses fresh fatty Tuna.
c)       Ebi Sashimi: It makes use of fresh Tiger prawns.
d)      Saba Sashimi: it makes use of raw mackeret.
e)      Ika Sashimi: Squid is used in this dish.
f)       Tako Sashimi: It uses Octopus.

3.  Ramen: This is the original Japanese noodlesoup, which is generally topped with seafood, chicken, beef, spring onions and seaweed.

Noodle Soup

4    Udon: This is a different variety of Japanese soup because it makes use of thicker noodles.

5.   Tempura: In this, the prawns are dipped in light batter and fried quickly. You can use vegetables as well.

6.   Yakitori: This dish is prepared using chicken, which is coated in sweet soya based sauce.
These dishes are not that hard to prepare. Ingredients used to make these dishes are easily available in the local supermarket.
